Flexible Rubber Magnets |
| |
Rubber magnets are also known as flexible magnets or plastic magnets. They are made from magnetic powder and polymer, mixed, melted and calendered or extruded from special equipments and then magnetized. Rubber magnets can be isotropic or anisotropic. Magnetic energy product is between 0.5 to 1.6MGOe. Operating temperature can be from -33°C to 55°C.
Rubber magnets can be made into strips, rolls, sheets and other complicated shapes. They are enough soft to be easily bent, twisted, coiled, punched, and machined into almost any shape without loss of magnetic energy.
| Rubber magnets are widely used in door-sealing of refrigerator and furniture, teaching, stationery, household appliances, decoration, toys and advertising. Motor magnetic strip is mainly applied to micro-motors for such equipments as camera, recorder, VCD, walkman, computer, etc. |
